With dual route switch processors (RSP) along with full commons redundancy, system and network resiliency become a reality for slot-reduced deployments.

Like the ASR 9010, the ASR 9006 uses the innovative Cisco IOS XR software which is built especially for distributed systems like the Cisco ASR 9000 Series.
